About MyFatCalc
MyFatCalc.com was created to make body composition estimates easier to understand and easier to use. We focus on clear inputs, practical interpretation, and privacy-first calculator behavior.
Our Approach
Every calculator on this site is built on established formulas such as CUN-BAE, the U.S. Navy circumference method, BMI-based estimates, and Jackson-Pollock skinfold protocols. We do not present them as medical tests, and we try to show the tradeoffs of each method clearly.
Editorial Review
Our content workflow is intentionally conservative. Educational pages start from published source material, are edited for readability, and are reviewed again before major updates. We prefer a smaller set of coherent pages over a large library of thin content.
Privacy First
All calculations happen in your browser. We do not transmit your height, weight, circumference data, or skinfold inputs to a backend. If you allow convenience storage, recent calculation history is kept locally in your browser only.
Update Policy
We review core calculator pages, legal pages, and evergreen content on a rolling basis. When formulas, disclosure requirements, or product behavior change, we update the relevant page and metadata.
